In the video Rick Moranis Returning in Honey I Shrunk The Kids Sequel, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as an idea to both please and make fun of stupid Canadian content demands, the pair morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The characters later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
