In the video Rick Moranis Returns For Honey, I Shrunk the Kids reboot | Pop Culture Headlines, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content demands, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The pair soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

According to Deadline, Rick Moranis is officially set to join the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids reboot. He’ll be reprising his role as Wayne Szalinski, and he’ll be joining Josh God, who will play his son. While there is no release date for the film, we know that its new official title is Shrunk.

Jared Leto is back on the set of Morbius for some reshoots. Leto shared a photo of himself reading Morbius comics with the caption, “Research. Back on set.” Morbius will hit theaters on July 31st.
