Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis Returns

In the video Rick Moranis Returns, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as an idea to both fulfill and mock network Canadian content guidelines, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The two enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
