Bob’s part is played by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously developed originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh about legal Canadian content laws, the characters grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The brothers went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

The comedy legend has stayed out of the spotlight for the past two decades … but he’s making his grand return for the new Disney project “Shrunk.” “To say it is a dream come true to once again see #RickMoranis on the big screen is the understatement of the decade,” Josh wrote on Instagram. “But to say, I get an up seat view of him returning to play one of his most iconic roles is the understatement of the century. Welcome back hero!” Rick’s new gig comes more than two decades after he slowly stepped back from onscreen roles to care for his children after the passing of his wife, Ann Belsky.

Happy Birthday Rick Began. Your a legend. Brother Bear 1 and 2 was amazing and great, seen part 2 in middle school field trip. Honey I Shrunk the Kids and Honey I Blew Up the Kid is awesome and hilarious. I seen Honey I Shrunk the Kids on Cartoon Network, maybe Friday movies, when I was 10, I guess. Good times. Cartoons kick ass. Seriously, incredible. Love comedy. And yeah, don't forget Ghostbusters 1 and 2. I love Science. It's kind of funny, when Louis was possessed by that demon dog. Worship Gozer. I'm so glad Rick Morris is back. Now we know who is playing Nick Szalinski. Now what they will do with Diane Szalinski? Because the late Marcia Strassman passed away in 2014 from breast cancer; and what will they do Nick's older sister Amy Szalinski and Nick's baby brother Adam Szalinski? Also what about there neighbors the Thompsons from the first film and Nick's love interest Mandy in Honey, I blew up the kid? Now these are questions that I'm really interested in.
Josh Gaad is a hack and gets waaay too many roles.
I love all his movies! One of his funniest performances is in the classroom scene in Parenthood when he puts in action that he loves his wife by singing the song Close to You by the Carpenters in front of all the students. I almost died laughing.
