In the video Rick Moranis Says No To New Ghostbusters Movie., Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s part is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a joke to both please and laugh about dumb Canadian content policies, the siblings transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The pair soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
