In the video Rick Moranis – SOS, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was included on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s part is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by comic Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a skit to both please and makes jokes about legal Canadian content statutes, the siblings transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
