Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis

In the video Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was televised on SCTV for the show’s third season when it was featured on CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s character is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. It was born originally as a sketch to both please and make fun of stupid Canadian content demands, the siblings morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
