In the video Rick Moranis “The Flintstones” 1994 – Bobbie Wygant Archive, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as an idea to both please and mock stupid Canadian content guidelines, the pair became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Rick the talks about 4 people operating the lobster lawn mower then when talking about the dictor bird she says “ must have taken 4 people to operate it” like she was saying something original?
They never made a sequel, but they made a prequel to this movie 6 years later. Viva Rock Vegas. Rick would have returned for that one if he could have, but he gave up acting a few years earlier to spend more time with his kids due to not being around them much because of being so busy with acting. Especially doing it years after his wife died.
I like how he's still using rock puns. LOL.
I like that he admitted the lobster lawnmower was ahead of its time.
