In the video Rick Moranis to Return | Honey i Shrunk the Kids REBOOT, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as filler to both follow guidelines and mock annoying Canadian content guidelines, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
