In the video Rick Moranis wasn’t in Revenge of the Nerds: Dance Shark Episode 7, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a skit which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a joke to both please and make fun of annoying Canadian content policies, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The brothers soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
