In the video Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on second city television for the show’s third season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and mock non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the characters transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
