Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis

In the video Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it moved to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh about non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the two turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The characters later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
