Bob McKenzie is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content statutes, the characters turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
