Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis Weimaraner

In the video Rick Moranis Weimaraner, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content statutes, the characters turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
