In the video Rick Moranis Where are you?, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s part is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is created by comic Dave Thomas. Although made originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of stupid Canadian content demands, the pair transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
