In the video Rick Moranis – You, Me, The Music, And Me (1989) – 09 – Weather, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by actor Dave Thomas. Although created originally as a skit to both please and make fun of network Canadian content demands, the siblings transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The characters soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
We here at Thom_CD-ROM.Com are very proud to be the first to release Rick Moranis’ first solo album from 1989 to the Internet. As you already know, this release was very limited to Canada on IRS Records, and was never pressed to CD. After years of refreshing our eBay and Discogs search queries, a cassette copy from Winnipeg appeared. And we pounced on it.

watch and we’ll be watching the weather
as we always do we’re gonna check the
weather the weather’s always worth a
check and it’ll be variable and
changeable as it should be partly sunny
partly cloudy clearing up a little bit
and then sometime a little later we may
cloud up a bit and then it’ll clear up
again as it always does we may get a
little bit of the wet stuff maybe not
maybe a little bit of the white stuff
and then it’ll clear up again and be
mostly sunny and a little partly cloudy
there and the temperatures will go down
a bit and then edge up a bit later and
then level off nicely with seasonable
highs and reasonable lows not too low on
the low side
and that’s pretty reasonable with all
things be equal chance of a little fog
in some of the low-lying areas with
highs in the low to medium seasonable
range and lows in the mid to high right
now downtown at the airport they’re
