Bob and Doug McKenzie in ROAD TO THE BLUES master

In the video ROAD TO THE BLUES master, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was made originally as an idea to both please and laugh about non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the characters turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
