In the video Rockline: Bob & Doug McKenzie, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV for the show’s third season when it moved to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh about annoying Canadian content rules, the two morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The two became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
