Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV – 3D Firing Line

In the video SCTV – 3D Firing Line, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. Although created originally as fluff to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content demands, the siblings turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The pair soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
