In the video SCTV Agoge || Are You?, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as fluff to both please and make fun of annoying Canadian content guidelines, the siblings transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The two later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
