Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV – Al Peck’s Used Cars

In the video SCTV – Al Peck’s Used Cars, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and make fun of stupid Canadian content legislation, the siblings turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
