Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV Bloopers

In the video SCTV Bloopers, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in . The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by actor Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a skit to both satisfy and make fun of legal Canadian content rules, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The characters went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
