Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV-Caesar CCCP 1_PT. 1

In the video SCTV-Caesar CCCP 1_PT. 1, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it aired by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s part is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and mock annoying Canadian content policies, the brothers transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The pair soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
