In the video SCTV Christmas Special 1982, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob McKenzie is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas.
