In the video SCTV – Church of Unlimited Credit with Robin Williams, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a improv which was included on SCTV for the show’s third season when it was aired on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as fluff to both satisfy and mock dumb Canadian content laws, the characters turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The two soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Martin Short is brilliant here channeling Jerry Lewis in a perfectly hilarious, nonsensible relationship. Check out the little coke-sniffs he does. Robin is actually playing the straight man here and doing a great job of it too but Martin steals the show.
Did Robin Williams do any other SCTV skits, if so I would like to see them. Bill Murray did one and it was fantastic.
