In the video SCTV Divine – “Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by comic Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as fluff to both fulfill and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content laws, the brothers became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
