Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV Episode #9 – Thanksgiving Special 2021 1124

In the video SCTV Episode #9 – Thanksgiving Special 2021 1124, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. It was born originally as filler to both satisfy and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content statutes, the two morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
