In the video SCTV Fantasy Island Pt 2, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by CBC Television in . Bob’s character is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and make fun of non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the pair became a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The pair later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
