Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV Fantasy Island Pt 3! Public At Last!

In the video SCTV Fantasy Island Pt 3! Public At Last!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a segment which was shown on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a skit to both fulfill and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the siblings morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
