In the video SCTV – GOT A MINUTE? – Dr. Sid Dithers on Stress, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was aired on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob McKenzie is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was made originally as a skit to both satisfy and laugh about dumb Canadian content policies, the brothers turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The pair soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
