Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV | Great White North – Shortcuts

In the video SCTV | Great White North – Shortcuts, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is created by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by comic Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh at network Canadian content statutes, the brothers morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The two enetually would become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
