In the video SCTV Great White North takes over, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of strange Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was aired on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content legislation, the characters grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
Guy Caballero demotes Johnny LaRue, gives Bob and Doug his dressing room, then takes away Bobby Bittman’s special… Sorry I didn’t get the whole thing…I do not own the rights, nor am I making money off this in any way. It’s just classic and wanted to share it.

Love these YouTube videos was a big Bob and Doug fan back in the day but I never knew what ICT V was going to be on it was usually on late night and they were always moving it around I haven't seen many of the original 2 minutes shorts. I had their album on cassette and of course I have the movie strange brew on DVD.
Guy Caballero was my spirit animal. Outright evil comedy genius. I swear he had to be the inspiration for Cartman.

This is hilarious! I was born in 1995, well after SCTV left the air for the last time, but Bob and Doug McKenzie will always be two of the best sketch comedy characters on any show. Also, could you please share more sketches from season 6? That would be great.
