SNL stole the concept of this improv sketch comedy skit and ran with it in the future. Gosh I miss The Second City in the windy city! It was so genuinely entertaining and funny.
FUN FACT… John Candy, Fred Willard, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Shelley Long, John Belushi, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Mike Meyers, Tina Fey, Chris Farley, Amy Poehler, Tim Meadows, Steve Carrell, Stephen Colbert, Alan Arkin, Harold Ramis, Peter Boyle, Jim Belushi and Joan Rivers are all THE SECOND CITY ALUMNI! Rest in peace John Candy, he was the funniest human comedian ever. While having the biggest heart in the room, he was extremely genuine, humble and grateful and always prioritzed his family first. Miss Uncle Buck!
