(so long 1983), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on CBC Television in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously developed originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh about dumb Canadian content rules, the two transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the States. The characters enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
