In the video SCTV Quảng Cáo in Saki Royama Major, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a skit to both please and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content statutes, the characters turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The characters soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
