Bob and Doug McKenzie in scTV Quiz – Aflevering 1

In the video scTV Quiz – Aflevering 1, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s third season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob McKenzie is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by comic Dave Thomas. Although created originally as a skit to both please and mock network Canadian content laws, the two transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
