In the video SCTV – Robin Williams – Church of Unlimited Credit, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of made up Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was televised on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it aired by CBC Television in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously developed originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content guidelines, the two turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and across the border. The brothers later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
