Bob’s character is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as an idea to both please and laugh at dumb Canadian content legislation, the siblings became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The brothers went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

It's too powerful. Just set it on mild shower. Then set the dryer to light breeze dry. It's ridiculous to set it so high that it blows over street signs and then blows poor Martin Short rolling down the street.

Looks kind of cold up there in Canada when this was done in 1981, maybe March. Very fun stuff from SCTV . Ronco was an American company, I think from Chicago, that sold lots of bad stuff espically records. Wonder how these guys picked up on that being from Canada. Who cares
