Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV S01E04 – Crosswords

In the video SCTV S01E04 – Crosswords, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it aired by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is played by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as an idea to both please and laugh at network Canadian content legislation, the two turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
