Iacocca’s Rock Concert, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was televised on SCTV for the show’s third season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as filler to both satisfy and mock stupid Canadian content legislation, the pair grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The pair later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
