The characters later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

I seem to recall when I first saw this broadcast on TV that Joe Flaherty's dad mocked Billy after he discovered him dead with, "Tell me a scary story! Tell me a scary story." No?

I can remember watching this as a kid in Southern Ontario when it first came on. 3:56 I love Joe's rat imitation. "Muskoka Muskrat; There's some Ontario humor. "What was that? A squeaky squeal!" LOL :)
