Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV Sneak Previews
In the video SCTV Sneak Previews, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s part is brought to life by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Despite developed originally as a sketch to both satisfy and laugh at legal Canadian content legislation, the pair grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The two soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

I don't know… That Henry movie actually looked pretty good!
I'll bet even Siskel and Ebert would have laughed AT THIS .
Hey..that comic strip of Henry really did exist! Just in case someone did not get the joke, Robert Altman directed the film ''Popeye" that same year.
loved their version of Star wars, hehehhehe
When Shout Factory released this episode on DVD they replaced that music in the Star Wars bit with POLKA music? Was that original music from the actual Star Wars trilogy? Can't imagine they had to pay a huge royalty for that. Sounds rather generic.
bwahaha! That last ship to get blown up looks like a Klingon warship!
You are very welcome
Thank you!!
Awe he died.
Ebert, you will be missed.
