You. Cheap …… Punk.
They forgot Sid Dithers.
Everything on SCTV comes on Thursdays at 9
Rick Moranis is underrated.⭐️
I miss classic comedy like this. Of course this has been outlawed now by the gynocracy because someone might get their feelings hurt.
I miss this show.
Great skit. All off the impressions were so good.
Try it with Abbott and Costello talking to each other…
these are hilarious. SNL ripped these of with their audition stuff they did for years through diff casts
What about Sid Dithers in Taxi Driver, probably my favourite. “Did you say somethin?”
SCTV > SNL
For those of you who didn't grow up in the '70's in Canada. SCTV was a "Must watch" after school program. Fond memories. I'm looking at you, Bob and Doug. John Candy, Joe Flaherty. Andrea Martin, all those guys. Yea.
Are you talking to him? Talk to me. Hey, I'm talking to you! Where are you going? Don't walk away. Ok. Make my Day. Pow, pow, pow!
Bad joke.
Hit that same pot hole again and again and agin..
Oh bobby…dont make me ralph….
Other than Moranis, this was genuinely lame.
That hair!
I don't enjoy much about being old,
But I sure do enjoy remembering when these came out ,
I was a wee boy and remember the impact this movie made,
I of course didn't watch it till I grew up years later,
I still remember coming home from school to hear Elvis died and watergate
Sooooo great!!
Rick Moranis as Woody Allen. Such an improvement.
Nick as Dick was Gold
I remember Woody
that reads like the punch line of a Viagra commercial
Ya talking to ME?
Wow people still love the pedo woody woooo hoooo gp usa
I used to stay up so late in Minnesota to watch SCTV. Funniest show on TV. My dad thought it was weird that I laughed out loud late at night.
Excellent. These actors – they got it right..
The only problem is, if they did this type of satire about any movie made after 1975, I wouldn’t get it because I haven’t seen a good movie that I could sit through. That has been made after 1975… i’m just not into movies with a storyline of children, saving the world, or dragons, or car, chases, or drug dealers, or car crashes in movies to make up for lack of a storyline, lack of a good Director, lack of a good producer..
it just seems that the movie industry has gone to The Dollar store, for castingdirectors, writers, And material. I might be exaggerating, just a little, I think there were about five good movies made after 1975.
"I know you knew Groucho." Cavett was always a name dropper.
Back when guns, Veterans mental health issues and wall kitsch were all good fun. Am I talking to you?
A very funny show. I miss it.
Remember Lola Heatherton? A cross between Lola Falana and Joey Heatherton ….they were essentially the same person only one white and one black dancer/singers.
Martin Short as Katherine Hepburn would have been a hilarious addition to this lineup.
Thursday at nine sure was a crowded time slot !!
SCTV was just as good as SNL!
Such a brilliant show and concept (doing everything as a TV network)! This was the late seventies, when SNL was in it’s finest form and then we had SCTV at the same time. Great, great TV!
I want to see every one of these movies.
Stupid funny, but still very funny.
I watched this show religiously growing up. This has to be one of the best written comedy TV shows of all time. And the players were epic. "Monday. Tuesday. Wednesday. Thursday. Friday. Saturday. Sunday. These are the days of the week." Hilarious stuff.
This has to be the inspiration for SNL’s audition skits
Doug and Bob McKenzie were in this? Take off!
