  1. For those of you who didn't grow up in the '70's in Canada. SCTV was a "Must watch" after school program. Fond memories. I'm looking at you, Bob and Doug. John Candy, Joe Flaherty. Andrea Martin, all those guys. Yea.

  2. I don't enjoy much about being old,
But I sure do enjoy remembering when these came out ,
I was a wee boy and remember the impact this movie made,
I of course didn't watch it till I grew up years later,
I still remember coming home from school to hear Elvis died and watergate

  3. Excellent. These actors – they got it right..
The only problem is, if they did this type of satire about any movie made after 1975, I wouldn’t get it because I haven’t seen a good movie that I could sit through. That has been made after 1975… i’m just not into movies with a storyline of children, saving the world, or dragons, or car, chases, or drug dealers, or car crashes in movies to make up for lack of a storyline, lack of a good Director, lack of a good producer..
it just seems that the movie industry has gone to The Dollar store, for castingdirectors, writers, And material. I might be exaggerating, just a little, I think there were about five good movies made after 1975.

  4. Such a brilliant show and concept (doing everything as a TV network)! This was the late seventies, when SNL was in it’s finest form and then we had SCTV at the same time. Great, great TV!

  5. I watched this show religiously growing up. This has to be one of the best written comedy TV shows of all time. And the players were epic. "Monday. Tuesday. Wednesday. Thursday. Friday. Saturday. Sunday. These are the days of the week." Hilarious stuff.
