Dave Thomas doesn't get the credit he deserves as a comedian.
No laugh tracks needed whatsoever. And while you are at it, the original had” Disco strangler” by the Eagles. Boss stuff!!!!
Man, I remember when I first saw this in the early 80s. Like people noticed here, the opening music was different (and better) and, biggest change : there was no GODDAM CHEESY LAUGH TRACK !!!! WTF ??!!
Music rong rong rong Should be Eagles' Disco Strangler! btw can't find it anywhere!!!!
The changed Music ruins it
"What's your preference, beaks or cheeks?"

BDSM and fisting reference… from a 1970's show… I guess the world did not changed that much after all.
Where's The Disco Strangler?
It is Better with Joe Walsh and Don Henley and the Eagles.not to mention the Old CCCP signal preemption. And Rent Cruseing for Big Al and the boys.and Pallie a good 4years after in 86 in Wise Guys with Ray Sharkey and in 1990 with Ray Liota.screw auto correct. See Good fellas..;-) Now Pack that Carcass like a MAN!..NOW!.. 😛
it was better wit Disco Strangler
– still pretty funny though
Hilarious! Classic movie. "Let's Go." Freaky!
Yes, it's a Eagle's song titled "The Disco Strangler". This isn't the full sketch either, it's the repeat that was aired in the "3CP1" show. The ending isn't that funny anyways, I think it was an excuse to use the well known Pacino line "you're out of orda".
Original music was an Eagles song I think. This skit was re-done for their NBC show, maybe using the original song would have been too costly for licensing. I agree tho, the skit works way better with the original music.
Hey, what happened to the music? It's just not the same without the original music.
love it but it needs the original music
