My favorite Rick character is ol producer Larry Siegel . He has a talk show who berates his guests, his legs constantly flap and stammers “ You don’t know, they don’t know” and gives them terrible advice! Always cracks me up!
Wanted: Extras to be yelled-at by Rick Moranis for 10 minutes.
I think Tom Cruise may have borrowed from Larry Seagal for his part in Tropic Thunder
This is what it’s like to be manic lol
I can see where MadTv gets their nuance from
You don't know, you don't knnnooowww…
Great, but hard to watch.
Larry Siegel was the best !!!!!
Was that last guest the legendary Chris Hillman from Manassas?
Oh, the wonder of simple, straightforward, funny-as-hell unbridled comedy
if u dont think this's funny…..u dont know u dont know
My favorite Rick Moranis bit.
Love the way he nervously claps his knees together while sitting way back in his seat.
One of my faves. Larry Siegel is both annoying and exhausting.
Twelve years has gone by and my Like has this video calling 911?? Rick Moranis' performance was so explosive and relentless from start to fnish is a testament to his brilliance and comedic talent. Add his musical talent on top of all that, and more, that his career after SCTV was on an upward trajectory until he bowed out.
Much respect and admiration for a very talented and witty person. I really hope he comes back again and gives us some of his jazzy vocals to enjoy!
You know this character had to be based on some real individual(s) he's encountered in the business! Rick is a comic genius.
Rumor has it that Larry went off on SCTV also for refusing to correct the misspelling of his last name in the caption to this video.
wow, the reality!
Y’know y’know y’know………….. you don’t know…..
Quentin Tarantino stole this character for True Romance
whattayagonnawatchrerunsoftheFONZIE?!
This is a show that I need to see for real. I would watch it! When Siegel can’t make it, Les Grossman can fill in as guest host!
I LIKED IT
I think this is Moranis at his absolute best.
He did that same character in Head Office.
musta been good meth back then
I knew a Spazz..
They act like This here..
In the SCTV book l read, Dave Thomas explains the meeting with this guy, which some commenters below point out; but also, the person Moranis is impersonating was the director in the beginning of Who Framed Rodger Rabbit?.
Larry missed gettin' the (cough) dynamic Belgians, Sandler and Young duo…'cause Sammy Maudlin scooped Larry on those two yokels…well…there's always the Count Floyd 'get'…AWHOOO!
