Bob and Doug McKenzie in SCTV – Two Goofs Grocery Store

In the video SCTV – Two Goofs Grocery Store, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was streamed on second city television for the show’s third season when it aired by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as a joke to both satisfy and make fun of stupid Canadian content legislation, the pair turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
