In the video SCTV – YELLOWBELLY (The Biggest Coward In The West), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob’s part is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as filler to both follow guidelines and laugh about annoying Canadian content legislation, the pair transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and across the border. The pair later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
