In the video SCTVAnneMurray.mpg, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was aired on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as fluff to both please and mock legal Canadian content guidelines, the brothers became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
