Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by Dave Thomas. The bit was born originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh at stupid Canadian content legislation, the characters turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The pair soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
