Bob and Doug McKenzie in “Seventeen” – Broadway in Bryant Park
In the video “Seventeen” – Broadway in Bryant Park, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and mock dumb Canadian content rules, the two grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The brothers went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

why are there so many negative comments their singing is just as good as any of the other cast
I can’t imagine anyone else doing as well as Berrett did as Veronica
Wait fuck this video's 6 years old
Everyone: Dayum she's good but she makes a better Chandler
Me: DAYUMMMMM she went from ensemble to Chandler to Veronica, she's iconic all around. periodt.
saw charissa as chandler and she killlllled it, but was always sad I never got to see her veronica with it closing so quickly after barretts swift departure.
the whole way the show went out was…odd.
so very…..not very.
They are really good, and one of my favorites, but not the best. The best Veronica is Olivia Moore in my opinion. Barrett, Carrie and Charissa come close after her. Charissa is insane as Heather Chandler tho. This JD is good, but by far not the best. The best JDs are by far Dan, Jamie, Ryan and Alex James Hatton (he's such a cutie, but he sounds INSANE trust me) I am really curious now for the tour cast, I hope we get such amazing actors as in every other production. ❤️
if you like other people better as Veronica and JD, fine! that’s alright, everyone’s allowed to have their own opinion. but go watch those people perform, and stop filling the entire fucking comment space with “uWu BuT baRrEtT aN dRy a N w e r e B e t t Er!!!” if you like them so much, go find a video of them performing. I’m not filling a comment section of Ryan and Barrett performing with “they don’t fit the roles; Dave Thomas Brown is better” so you shouldn’t do that kind of thing here.
I love Charissa so so much. She’s so incredible. Yes I prefer her heather chandler as most people do but she’s so talented
This is good in all, but their voices don't go together. Ryan and Barrett's voices go together beautifully. Barrett will always be the best Veronica without a doubt and Ryan will always be the best JD I prefer the original cast, but this was good IG.
Is this after the original cast left the show? or are these their understudies? cause in the closing bootleg, it shows the original cast minus Heather Duke.
unpopular opinion: I prefer the uk's version with carrie better. there, said it
I can still see the Heather Chandler inside of her hahahahahahaha.
iM FANGIRLING
i love charissa but i like her more as heather
who lives, who dies, who tells your story- oops. wrong fandom.
In my opinion Barrett and Ryan is better but don't get me wrong her voice is good for Heather Chandler but I like Jessica cause Jessica's voice is bitter sweet and that's perfect Heather Chandler. As for Veronica no just no I'm sorry but you can't beat Barrett in my heart
#nohatejustopinion
all these negative ass comments…
Is it just me or does anyone wish that musical song could be played on the radio? If you know of one or a couple even, let me know.
They're amazing, and they have amazing voices, ranges I could only wish i could teach but Barrett will always be my favorite musical Veronica and Ryan my favorite musical JD. Like I said, I acknowledge these two are amazing singers but Barret and Ryan as Veronica and JD for the win.
Charrissa's bow makes me so happy…..
CHARISSA IS SO GOOD TBH
SO IS DAVE
